We seek an experienced and enthusiastic Development Director to lead our development efforts.


What You’ll Do

  • Fundraising: Develop and execute strategies for individual, corporate, and grant fundraising.
  • Donor Engagement: Cultivate donor relationships and create compelling communication materials.
  • Team Leadership: Sit on the Leadership team, lead the development team and collaborate across departments.
  • Grant Management: Identify opportunities, assist in writing proposals, and oversee management of grant compliance.
  • Event Management: Plan and execute fundraising events.
 

What You Bring

  • Experience: Proven success in nonprofit fundraising, major gifts, and grants, or related sales/account management experience.
  • Skills: Strong communication, leadership, supervision, and strategic planning abilities.
  • Attributes: Commitment to our mission, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of the Development Director are to understand the funding needs of the organization, assist in budget development, implement and oversee all fundraising strategies, ensure the legal and fiscal integrity of benefactor contributions, represent FCFS in public; monitor fundraising goals and accomplishments; maintain fundraising records, and supervise development staff, volunteers, and contractors.

PAY AND BENEFITS

  • $60,000 – $65,000 DOE, annually, salaried/exempt, Full-Time
