Home Visitor

What You’ll Do:

As a Home Visitor, you will provide vital support to families from the prenatal stage through the first year of an infant’s life. You will conduct regular home visits to guide parents, administer screenings for maternal postpartum depression and infant development, and offer personalized resources to strengthen family well-being. You will play a key role in data collection, attend ongoing training and meetings, and collaborate with community partners to ensure a seamless referral process for families in need of additional services. Work Environment: Office, Family homes, Community and Resource Agencies, and car travel to outlying communities (Lincoln, Boulder, Townsend) is required.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • A High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of supervised work experience with young children and/or families, or a Bachelor or associate degree in Social Work, Human Services or related field.
  • At least one-year experience working with young children and/or families
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with families
  • Knowledge of infant development and maternal health
  • Experience with data collection and maintaining detailed records
  • Ability to work collaboratively with community organizations
  • Sensitivity to the unique needs of diverse families and cultures
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development
 

 

PAY AND BENEFITS:

  • $18.00 – $20.00 per hour, DOE
