Who We Serve

At Florence Crittenton, we believe that every child deserves a chance for a strong and stable family, and that every family deserves a chance to build that loving environment for their children. To this end, we aim to serve families from across the state and have created a continuum of care to better match needs with services. While our services traditionally focus on our state’s most vulnerable families who have experienced trauma, significant mental health needs, struggle with substance use disorder, homelessness, and poverty, we also serve families in the greater Helena community that are in need of less intense services community-based services and childcare support.

These services fall along a continuum, from intensive residential treatment for young mothers ages 12 to 30 and their children under 5, to outpatient, home visiting, and parenting classes for families seeking early services in the Helena area, to high quality early childhood programs for families seeking the best possible care for their children in the community. We pride ourselves of serving a wide breadth of Montanans, serving clients from every county in Montana, with a high percentage of our clients being part of our state’s Native American communities and families from all socio-economic backgrounds. Our goal is to look beyond our clients’ barriers and challenges and see their potential to be incredible families.
